Regarding the Expulsion of Mr. Hideyuki Okada, Head of the Kansai Headquarters

The International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (All Japan Kyokushin Union), a General Incorporated Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Kyokushin Union"), resolved at its Board of Directors meeting held on June 9, 2026, to expel Mr. Hideyuki Okada, Head of the Kansai Headquarters.

Today, through legal counsel, the Kyokushin Union formally notified Mr. Okada of the following decision and hereby reports the matter to all concerned parties.

Notice

Although you, as the representative of the Kansai Headquarters, submitted a notice of withdrawal from the Kyokushin Union on May 25, 2026, the Board of Directors resolved at its meeting on June 9, 2026, not to accept your resignation and instead to impose the disciplinary sanction of expulsion. We hereby notify you accordingly.

The grounds for your expulsion are that, under the name of the Kansai Headquarters, you engaged in conduct including the dissemination of false statements that damaged the honor and credibility of the Kyokushin Union. The Board determined that such conduct constituted grounds for serious disciplinary action.

As a result, you no longer have any affiliation with the Kyokushin Union. Accordingly, we hereby make the following requests.

1. Use of Kyokushin-Related Trademarks

The Kyokushin Union has been granted authorization by the General Incorporated Association International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as the "Headquarters"), the trademark management organization, to use the following five registered trademarks (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Kyokushin-related Trademarks"). Accordingly, member dojo of the Kyokushin Union have the legal right to use these trademarks.

As you have been expelled from the Kyokushin Union, you have lost any legal basis to use the Kyokushin-related Trademarks.

Therefore, effective immediately upon your receipt of this notice, you are requested to cease and refrain from any use of the Kyokushin-related Trademarks (Article 8, Paragraph 1 of Chapter 13 of the Kyokushin Union Ethics and Disciplinary Regulations).

2. Events Organized by the Kansai Headquarters

It has been announced that the Kansai Headquarters intends to hold the "Osaka Castle Cup – Summer Campaign" on September 20, 2026, and that the event will serve as a qualifying or selection tournament for other competitions.

As this event has no affiliation whatsoever with the Kyokushin Union, you are requested to ensure that participants and other interested parties are not misled into believing that the Kyokushin Union is involved.

Accordingly, you are requested to refrain from using any Kyokushin-related Trademarks in connection with participant recruitment, advertising, promotion, or operation of the "Osaka Castle Cup – Summer Campaign."

3. Legal Action

Should you fail to comply with the above requests, the Kyokushin Union and/or the Headquarters will promptly initiate appropriate legal proceedings, including, but not limited to, legal action for trademark infringement, pursuant to Article 8, Paragraph 2 of Chapter 13 of the Kyokushin Union Ethics and Disciplinary Regulations.

We hereby conclude this notice of expulsion and formal request.

関西総本部 岡田秀幸氏に対する除名処分について

一般社団法人 国際空手道連盟 極真会館（全日本極真連合会）（以下、「極真連合会」といいます）は、令和８年６月９日の理事会において、関西総本部 岡田秀幸氏に対する除名処分を決定いたしました。

本日、代理人を通じて岡田秀幸氏に対し、下記の通り通知いたしましたので、関係各位にご報告いたします。

関西総本部代表者である貴殿は、令和８年５月２５日に極真連合会に対し退会届を提出されておられますところ、同年６月９日の理事会において、極真連合会は貴殿の退会申出を認めず、除名処分とすることに決定いたしましたので、その旨ご通知いたします。

除名処分の理由は、貴殿が代表を務める関西総本部名において、極真連合会の名誉ないし信用を毀損する虚偽の風説を流布した等の行為が重大な懲戒処分該当性があるものと判断されたことによります。

貴殿は極真連合会との関係がなくなりましたので、以下の通り申し入れいたします。

1　関西総本部ないし貴殿の極真関連商標の使用について

　極真連合会は、商標管理団体である一般社団法人 国際空手道連盟 極真会館 総本部（以下、「総本部」とい

　います）から，次の５つの商標（以下、極真関連商標といいます）の商標使用許諾を受け、そのため極真連

　合会加盟道場は極真関連商標を使用できる法的根拠を有しております。ところが、貴殿は極真連合会を除名

　処分になったことからその法的根拠を喪失しました。

　従いまして、貴殿におかれて本書到達の時点より以降、極真関連商標の使用は厳にお控えくださいますよう

　申し入れいたします（極真連合会 倫理・懲戒規定（第１３章）第８条第１号）。

2　関西総本部ないし貴殿における連合会と関係のない大会の実施について

　関西総本部ないし貴殿は、令和８年９月２０日に「大阪城杯・夏の陣」を開催予定とし他の大会の選考会ま

　たは予選会として行う旨発表されておられますが、これは極真連合会と関係のない大会でありますことか

　ら、あたかも極真連合会が関与するかのような誤解を関係者に与えないように配慮するよう申し入れます。

　すなわち、「大阪城杯・夏の陣」においてその参加選手募集や大会広告・運営につき、極真関連商標を厳に

　使用されませぬよう申し入れいたします。

3　貴殿におかれて、以上の申し入れをお聞き入れいただけない場合には、極真連合会ないし総本部は、速や

　かに商標権侵害に基づく訴訟提起等の法的措置に入りますので、あらかじめ申し添えます（極真連合会 倫

　理・懲戒規定（第１３章）第８条第２号）。

　以上、除名処分の通知および申入れまでにて失礼いたします。
